Powering the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

Power for this incredible SUV comes from a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine. It pumps out 707 horsepower and 645 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine was designed and manufactured to specifically withstand the rigors of a system that is this powerful.  Part of the Trackhawk's performance is due to its TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. This transmission offers improved shift response and excellent performance and drivability. Jeep didn't forget to equip the Trackhawk to give it classic Jeep capability. It comes with the Jeep Quadra-Trac on-demand four-wheel-drive system. This system uses an electronic limited-slip rear differential and a single-speed active transfer case.

Unique Trackhawk Design

The cabin of the Trackhawk is focused on offering an ultimate experience for the driver. Its materials are premium soft-touch and unique Light Black Chrome finishes and carbon fiber spears round out the design. A 7-inch driver information display (DID) instrument cluster comes standard. The Jeep Trackhawk differs from other Grand Cherokees in that it rides one inch lower than non-SRT Grand Cherokee models. It has other unique features to make it clear that this is a true performance SUV. These include body-colored wheel flares, side sill cladding and a sculpted hood with dual heat extractors.
