Off-roading is more of a way of life than a simple activity. Off-road enthusiasts are more than just a group of people. They are a community of people who share a passion for off-road vehicles and the adventures they are used for. Jeep, a legend in the off-road community, has off-roading trails across the country that are known as Badge of Honor Trails. When one of these trails is conquered, the driver receives a badge to put on their Jeep, boasting their accomplishment. Further, Jeep offers the Badge of Honor app, which helps connect Jeep off-roaders with trails and much more. Learn more about the Jeep Badge of Honor and how you can earn one!
How Many Jeep Badge of Honor Trails Are There?
As of 2023, there are a total of 68 Jeep Badge of Honor trails across the United States, as Jeep just added six more to the list this year. All Badge of Honor trails range in difficulty from terrain mildly challenging to expert-only trails with a variety of terrain in between. The trails feature a wide range of obstacles like steep inclines, rocky terrain, narrow passes, and daunting descents. Badge of Honor trails include the famed Rubicon Trail in California, Jericho Mountain in New Hampshire, Hell's Revenge in Utah, and more!
What is the Jeep Badge of Honor App?
Jeep developed the Badge of Honor app to help drivers find trails near them. Furthermore, drivers can use the app to conduct research on these trails and choose the one that is suitable for their skill level and terrain preferences, as the app shows the level of difficulty, terrain, weather forecast, user photos of the trail, and more. Users should use the Badge of Honor app on their mobile devices to check in when they arrive at the location and are ready to begin the trail. Upon successfully completing the trail, points are accumulated that will allow you to progress to higher achievement levels. Additionally, you can earn more points by sharing photos and actively participating in the Badge of Honor community. It is quite typical for the Badge of Honor trails to be situated in remote areas with limited access to cell signals. Fear not, you can still check in on the Badge of Honor app even when you're offline. Once you are back in an area with a signal, the app will register your visit, and you'll earn your points. The Badge of Honor app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
