Where Does the Name SIXPACK Come from?

The name SIXPACK dates back to 1969 when Dodge released the Charger R/T with a 440 Magnum Six Pack engine, a 440-cubic inch Big Block six-cylinder engine. When equipped with the Six Pack engine, the Charger could keep up with the HEMI-powered models in a short, stoplight-to-stoplight race. Fast forward to the present day, and you'll find that, although the larger, thirsty HEMI V8 engines have been discontinued, there's still plenty of muscle to go around. The modern Dodge Charger SIXPACK is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine that comes in both a standard-output and high-output variant. In its standard form the straight-six engine, named Hurricane, is slated to offer 420 horsepower, replacing the 5.7L V8 with an additional 50 horsepower. Meanwhile, the high-output Hurricane engine lays down an enthralling 550 horsepower, boasting 65 extra horsepower over the outgoing 6.4L HEMI. The new Hurricane engine comes paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission that powers an intelligent all-wheel drive platform at all trim levels.

A Modern Twist on an American Icon

The exterior design of the 2025 Dodge Charger varies based on the engine output you select. The high-output models are built for performance and come as sleek two-door coupes, while the standard-output models retain the classic four-door sedan style. The Charger masterfully blends both modern and classic elements. Modern touches include full LED exterior lighting, bold and rigid body lines, an illuminated badge on both the front and rear, and the distinctive "ring of fire" red LED lighting at the back. On the classic side, the Charger proudly features the retro Fratzog logo, a nod to Dodge's heritage from 1962 to 1976. This emblem is showcased on the grille with white LED lighting, the rear with red LEDs, and even on the wheel center caps. Color options for the 2025 Charger are equally impressive, offering fan favorites like Redeye, Diamond Black, White Knuckle, Destroyer Gray, and Triple Nickle. In addition, Dodge has introduced three striking new shades: light blue Bludicrous, deep blue After Dark, and Peel Out orange.

Cabin Design of the Charger SIXPACK

The 2025 Dodge Charger's exterior design hints at the blend of classic and modern features found within the cabin. One standout feature is the modern take on the iconic "pistol grip" shifter, seen initially in 1970. Meanwhile, the ignition button has also been repositioned from its traditional spot near the steering column to sit just behind the shifter, alongside the electronic parking brake switch. This central placement makes for a more intuitive and streamlined driving experience. The center console also includes practical touches, like a storage bin that doubles as an armrest, a wireless charging pad, and two illuminated cupholders.  Standard upholstery for the 2025 Charger is black cloth, but buyers can upgrade to luxurious Nappa leather in either Black or Demonic Red. The Charger SIXPACK also offers optional packages like the Plus Group, Track Package, and Carbon & Suede Package, each adding unique enhancements in comfort, style, and convenience. For tech enthusiasts, the 2025 Charger is equipped with a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen in a landscape orientation at the top of the center stack, while behind the steering wheel lies a fully digital, customizable 10.25-inch gauge cluster.
